A Résumé of
the Prix Pictet

In 2008 the Pictet Group created the Prix Pictet photography award to draw worldwide attention to issues of environmental sustainability. During its first decade the Prix Pictet’s juries have scrutinised 28,000 images submitted by over 4,200 nominated photographers. The resulting awards, books and exhibitions have cast a critical eye on the most urgent and chronic sustainability issues of our time. Since founding, the Prix Pictet has tackled eight themes: Water, Earth, Growth, Power, Consumption, Disorder, Space and now Hope.
